The Union announced they've declined the option on Berdecio's contract for the 2025 MLS season, making him a free agent.

ANALYSIS
Berdecio joined Philadelphia from Bolivian side Oriente Petrolero and was expected to add depth to the defensive line. However, the full-back struggled to make an impact and didn't make a single appearance for the club at the MLS level. Berdecio is expected to return to Oriente Petrolero for the 2025 campaign of the Bolivia Primera Division.
