PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

GOALKEEPER

Keylor Navas, RMD v. LEG: Real Madrid are massive home favorites against Legia Warsaw, who have been outscored 8-0 over their first two Group D matches. Paying up for the top keeper on the slate is a sound purchase that comes with a guaranteed five points for the win and another five for shutting Warsaw out for the third straight game.

Kasper Schmeichel, LEI v. COP: Schmeichel will go overlooked by many after he was lit up for three goals by Chelsea on Saturday, but he's in a good spot to bounce back with a quick turnaround against FC Copenhagen at home, where Leicester kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Porto in their last Champions League outing. Schmeichel has yet to concede in two UCL games to help Leicester to a perfect start, and while he'll surely tested by Copenhagen, he could quietly turn in a third consecutive shutout.

DEFENDER

Ludwig Augustinsson, COP at LEI: Augustinsson exploded for two assists, 16 crosses and 28 DraftKings points in his last Champions League game, and he would have been pushing 40 points if not for a missed penalty. A match at Leicester presents a different challenge than the Club Brugge side he destroyed, but a reasonably priced defender with double-digit cross potential and set piece upside is worth chasing in hopes of another big point bonanza.

Sergio Escudero, SEV at DIN: Escudero has 27 fantasy points on DraftKings through two games, which includes a combined seven crosses, seven tackles won, five interceptions and two clean sheets. It's clear that he can accrue points across multiple categories, making him cash-game worthy in a favorable matchup at Dinamo Zagreb.

Alex Sandro, JUV v. LYO: Sandro has been limited to just 22 minutes of Champions League action so far, but he looks set to start Tuesday's match at Lyon. The winger marauds up-and-down the left flank, boasting double-digit cross potential if he starts.

MIDFIELDER

Hakan Calhanoglu, BAY v. TOT: Calhanoglu is one of those players that seems to accrue points from the first minute of the game right up until the final whistle. He's taken four shots in each of Leverkusen's two group stage matches and had a goal and an assist in their home opener. A tricky home fixture with Tottenham will require another multi-faceted effort from Calhanoglu, and another 20+ point performance is well within reach.

Toni Kroos, RMD v. LEG: Kroos is the default corner kick and wide free-kick taker for Real Madrid, and a game that should see Los Blancos produce plenty of goals against Legia Warsaw bodes well for the German. The dead-ball specialist is fresh off a two-assist performance in Saturday's 6-1 thrashing of Real Betis, and he now leads La Liga with five assists on the season.

Miralem Pjanic, JUV v. LYO: Pjanic had a goal and an assist in his last Champions League outing before subbing out at halftime due to injury. He's fit again and has a favorable matchup against former employer Lyon. Considering Pjanic pushes double-digits fantasy points through shots and crosses alone, and Juventes checking in as a road favorite, he's in play in both cash games and tournaments.

FORWARD

Cristiano Ronaldo, RMD v. LEG: Ronaldo is on the brink of becoming the first player to score 100 goals in European club competition. He's scored a goal in each of the first two Group F games and needs just two more to hit the century mark. He'll be licking his chops at the prospect of padding his goal totals against bottom-of-the-table Legia Warsaw, who have conceded eight goals through the first two games.

Paulo Dybala, JUV v. LYO: Dybala is in top form, with four goals in three games across all competitions. Similar to Pjanic, Dybala is capable of topping double-digits strictly from shots and crosses. He is a cash-game target anytime he's in the starting XI, and he's got the goods to win some tournaments, too.

Riyad Mahrez, LEI v. COP: Mahrez was rested over the weekend ahead of Tuesday's match with FC Copenhagen. He's off to a flying start in Champions League play, with two goals, an assist and 46 DraftKings points through the first two games. Expect Marez to be all systems go as Leicester City look to put a stronghold on the top spot in Group G.
