Colapinto will join Alpine as one of their reserve drivers in 2025, it has been announced, with the Argentinian racer further bolstering the team's back-up pool for the season ahead, Formula1.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Colapinto did great work in relief of Logan Sargeant last season at Williams. He opened a lot of eyes with his performance. Alpine has now tapped him to be a reserve driver for the 2025 season, adding some depth to that roster. The deal is reported to be a multi-season contract. The young driver could eventually end up as one of the front line drivers for Alpine in time.
