The two top teams in the Central League will collide Tuesday, as the Giants will host the BayStars at the Tokyo Dome to begin a three-game series. The series will feature several former MLB players and some of the best Japanese players in the league, so it should be one of the best series of the young season. Shosei Togoh will get the nod for the Giants. He looked quite good in his first start of the season, as he allowed just two runs in 6.2 innings while earning a win. The BayStars will counter with a lefty, Haruhiro Hamaguchi, who tossed 8.1 scoreless frames in his debut, although he did allow 10 hits. It remains to be seen how he'll handle the top team in the Central League.

Tyler Austin, BayStars: Austin has looked impressive this season and is already emerging as one of the top offensive threats in NPB. He has gone 12-for-27 (.444) with two home runs and seven RBI in eight games.
Haruhiro Hamaguchi, BayStars: Hamaguchi delivered an impressive performance in his 2020 debut, tossing 8.1 scoreless innings. He's a good bet to deliver another strong performance here, though the Giants do represent a tough opponent.
Gerardo Parra, Giants: Parra is enjoying a strong start to the 2020 season, hitting .286 with a .375 on-base percentage. He's gone deep three times already this season but can be productive even when not hitting the ball out of the park, as he's a well-rounded player at the plate.
