ANALYSIS
D'Alelio started the fight strong with some hard strikes that sent Roxanne Modafferi to the mat. However, after eating a punch, she fell to the mat herself. She ended the first round by escaping an armbar and slamming Modafferi. Round 2 started a downhill slide for D'Alelio. She took a straight shot that sent her to the ground and led to a lot of back time and defensive grappling. "The Monster" went into the last round looking tired and putting up a weak defense. Modafferi got an early takedown after which D'Alelio got pounded with elbows and the referee had to call for a stop.
