Defeats UFC newcomer Buren via unanimous decision
Dy defeated Wuliji Buren via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night: Shanghai on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Dy was able to out-muscle Buren in this fight. He dropped the UFC newcomer early in Round 1, and from that point it was Buren's goal to get the fight to the ground. "The Incredible" showed great takedown defense as he successfully stopped seven of eleven takedown attempts throughout the fight. On those in which he was not successful, he was able to quickly get back to his feet. Dy even reversed one takedown and ended up in side control where he was able to land good ground and pound in Round 2. He was also able to land more power shots when the fight was standing.

Loses decision in Japan after point deduction
Dy was defeated by Teruto Ishihara via unanimous decision (27-28, 27-28, 27-29) at UFC Fight Night on Friday in Japan.
ANALYSIS
This was a very competitive fight. Dy was dropped early by an Ishihara left hand, and then took a lot of damage on the ground throughout the remainder of Round 1. The round was likely a 10-8 for Ishihara. Dy showed his toughness by surviving the round and winning the second round. In the third, "Dy Incredible" landed two huge shots to the groin area of the Japanese fighter. This resulted in a point being deducted as it was Dy's third strike to the groin. Ishihara was almost not able to continue. The fight likely would have been a draw had the point not been deducted.

Drops UFC debut to Alex Caceres
Dy lost to Alex Caceres via TKO (eye injury) at 5:00 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Kallang, Singapore.
ANALYSIS
Dy didn't put up much of a fight against Caceres but he did try to stick it out. He got knocked around in Round 1 and needed to be checked on by the physician near the beginning of Round 2. Dy was cleared to continue but only lasted until the end of the round, when the doctor called for a stop. "The Incredible" wasn't so incredible in his debut and broke a four-fight winning streak with the loss.
