Set to fight in home country
Reyes was added to the UFC Mexico City card for September 21, as he will be fighting Kyle Nelson.
ANALYSIS
Reyes will be fighting in his home country, hoping to get back on track after he was knocked out by Drew Dober on June 29. Reyes has been pedestrian in his last four fights, going just 1-3, while being knocked out in each of his losses. Fighting in Mexico City will hopefully light a fire under Reyes, after he's severely lacked competitiveness in his recent fights.

No-shows loss to Drew Dober
Reyes lost to Drew Dober via KO (punches) at 1:07 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Minneapolis.
ANALYSIS
It's truly difficult to look as poor in a fight as Reyes did on Saturday. He spent the entire 67 seconds the bout lasted serving as a punching bag for Dober. Sporting a 1-3 record in his last four bouts and having been knocked out in each of those losses, the 34-year-old Reyes is in trouble. It might not happen in every single instance, but the lack of competitiveness Reyes displayed in this one often leads to a fighter being handed his/her walking papers.

Adds fight in June
Reyes will face Drew Dober in a lightweight matchup at UFC Minneapolis on June 29, Nolan King of Flocombat reports.
ANALYSIS
Reyes opened his UFC run on a three-fight winning streak, but has since dropped two of his last three bouts. He'll enter with slight height and reach advantages, in addition to being the higher-volume striker. Look for this one to be played out on the feet, as the pair has just two combined takedowns (both Dober) over their last 12 UFC bouts combined.

Endures brutal finish
Reyes lost to Damir Hadzovic via TKO (punches) at 2:03 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night 145 in Prague, Czech Republic on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Reyes was having a fair bit of success early in Round 1 by coming forward and throwing combinations but didn't seem prepared for his opponent to shoot takedowns in response, which resulted in the Mexican fighter ending up on his back. Round 2 took on a similar tone, but Hadzovic made the most of the opportunity the second time around, forcing Reyes to give up his back on the ground, where he succumbed to brutal ground and pound. Reyes is a slick boxer and a fun action fighter but seems to struggle with fighters who don't simply agree to brawl with him in the pocket. He will need to diversify his game if he wants to get back to his winning ways. Reyes falls to 8-5 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.

Draws Hadzovic in Prague
Reyes (suspension) will take on Damir Hadzovic in a lightweight matchup at UFC Prague on Feb. 23.
ANALYSIS
Reyes is fresh off a six-month suspension for the banned substance ostarine that showed up in an out-of-competition test back in March. Now ready to return, he enters this matchup with a superior UFC record (4-1), in addition to slight height and reach advantages. Outside of his matchup with James Vick, Reyes has been a fantasy-friendly fighter, picking up three stoppages in his four victories. He's landed an average of 6.69 significant strikes per minute through his time with the UFC, but is willing to take damage too, absorbing 4.59 significant strikes per minute. Neither combatant has registered a takedown in the UFC, so this one should be fan-friendly.
