Cummins has to be one of the most disappointing fighters in UFC history. Cummins lost to Misha Cirkunov via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 2:20 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Cummins did not really get a chance to get going in this fight. He ate a hard punch right off the bat from Cirkunov. It hurt him, so he went to his wrestling. However, he had very little success in the wrestling exchange. He got to the clinch, but he could not drag his opponent to the ground. Instead, Cirkunov scored a takedown of his own right into mount. From there, he quickly locked in the submission and finished the fight. Cummins has not dropped back-to-back fights in the UFC.

Given medical suspension after convincing loss
Cummins was suspended indefinitely pending a CT scan of his head and abdomen, in addition to a right eye laceration that all resulted from his loss to Corey Anderson at UFC Atlantic City, MMAFighting.com reports.
