Inconsistent ways continue

Radzhabov lost to Trey Ogden via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was a tale of two different fights. On the feet, Radzhabov was borderline dominant. He landed countless massive blows and had Ogden in trouble on multiple occasions, but his inability to remain upright cost him the bout. Radzhabov allowed at least one takedown in each round, four in total. It's very difficult to win a 15-minute decision when you spent 9:47 of the fight being controlled on the mat. Set to turn 34 years of age this coming September, Radzhabov has alternated losses and wins in his first four UFC bouts.

Will face Ogden in Vegas
LightweightUFC
April 21, 2024
Radzhabov will face Trey Ogden in a lightweight bout at UFC Vegas 94 on July 20, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Radzhabov defeated Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady in his most recent fight, as he delivered a much-needed bounce-back performance after losing badly to Mateusz Rebecki in his most recent event. Radzhabov will aim to start a winning streak here knowing he has a 2-1 UFC record in his career.
Gets right back in win column
LightweightUFC
March 2, 2024
Radzhabov defeated Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady via KO (punches) at 0:49 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
No fighter on this card was in need of a bounce-back performance more than Radzhabov. When we last saw Loik last August, he was missing weight for a fight against Mateusz Rebecki before being routed in a second-round knockout defeat. With this bout clearly tied at a round apiece, and Radzhabov's gas tank nearly empty, he cracked Al-Selwady with a massive right hand early in Round 3 which was enough to essentially earn the immediate stoppage victory. Nothing in the 33-year-old Radzhabov's background suggests a prolonged winning streak is forthcoming here, but he pushes his UFC record above the .500 mark (2-1) with this victory.
Added to Saudi Arabia card
LightweightUFC
January 14, 2024
Radzhabov will face Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady in a lightweight matchup at UFC Saudi Arabia on March 2, Farah Hannoun of MMAJunkie reports.
ANALYSIS
Radzhabov joined the UFC in 2023 and went 1-1 in his two appearances, winning a decision against Esteban Ribovics in his UFC debut before getting finished via TKO in the second round against Mateusz Rebecki in June. He missed weight for the latter fight, so Radzhabov's weigh-in may be worth monitoring. The 33-year-old out of Tajikistan now draws a relative newcomer in Al-Selwady, a fighter who earned his UFC opportunity by extending his winning streak to five in a Contender Series victory over George Hardwick this past August. Radzhabov will have a three-inch height advantage, while both men will check in with a 69-inch reach.
Not competitive after weight miss
LightweightUFC
June 24, 2023
Radzhabov lost to Mateusz Rebecki via TKO (punches) at 2:36 of Round 2 at UFC on ABC 5 on Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida.
ANALYSIS
The actions of the past 36 hours could very possibly cost Radzhabov his job. He missed weight by 1.25 pounds on Friday morning, forfeited 20 percent of his purse in order for the fight to proceed, and was then blown out of the water by Rebecki when the two finally stepped into the Octagon. Radzhabov still had his wits about him at the time of referee Larry Folsom's stoppage, but he was absorbing so much damage that the decision to end it was almost certainly the correct one. A long time member of the PFL roster, Radzhabov falls to 1-1 in his brief UFC career.
Misses weight, fight still on
LightweightUFC
June 23, 2023
Radzhabov weighed in at 157.25 pounds - missing the lightweight limit by 1.25 pounds - but will still fight Mateusz Rebecki as scheduled, MMAFighting.com reports Friday.
ANALYSIS
Radzhabov came in 1.25 pounds over the lightweight limit, and elected not to attempt a second weigh-in. He'll reportedly forfeit 20 percent of his purse as a penalty, and the fight will proceed as planned.
