Easily submits Takanori Gomi in Singapore
Tuck defeated Takanori Gomi via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:12 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Kallang, Singapore.
ANALYSIS
Easy work. Tuck quickly pushed forward the minute the opening bell rang and an overmatched Gomi had no chance to respond. The dominant effort says more about Gomi than it does about Tuck. With a 4-4 career record in the UFC, Tuck has proven to be a useful, if unspectacular, member of the roster. There is next to no upside with the 32-year-old Tuck, but he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Lets Damien Brown back in the fight
Tuck lost to Damien Brown via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Melbourne, Australia.
ANALYSIS
Tuck appeared to be the better fighter in the first round, but he took his foot off the gas and let the fight get away. In the first round, Tuck defended a guillotine choke and did solid work from the top. The two ended up back on their feet, and Tuck was able to land a pretty solid hook that floored Brown. However, in the next two rounds, Tuck threw very little volume. Brown did not do that much better, but he was more active and moving forward. If Tuck wants to be successful, he will need to be much more active.

Tuck will now face Josh Emmett at UFC Rotterdam on Sunday, as his original opponent, Nick Hein, had to withdraw due to injury.
ANALYSIS
Tuck is 3-2 in his last five bouts, and will attempt to rack up back-to-back victories against a 31-year-old that will be making his UFC debut. Even though Tuck is more experienced in the octagon, he will surely have to adjust his game plan for a new opponent, and will have to do so just four days before the scheduled bout.
