Easily dispatched by Mark Madsen
Belluardo lost to Mark Madsen via TKO (elbows) at 1:12 of Round 1 at UFC Copenhagen on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Belluardo looked every bit the part of a (+450) underdog, as he was taken down early and simply couldn't find his way back to his feet. It didn't take long for the referee to step in, with Madsen raining down elbows on the overmatched opponent. Belluardo is now 0-2 under the UFC banner and hasn't shown enough to expect much improvement moving forward.

ANALYSIS
Belluardo just took part in his UFC debut in June at FC Fight Night 153 in Stockholm, where he lost to Joel Alvarez via TKO (punches) in the second round. It went downhill fast after what looked to be a strong start from Belluardo, but now he will get a second crack at earning his first win under the promotion. His opponent, Madsen, will be making his UFC debut and boasts a 7-0 professional record.

Debut turns ugly in a hurry
Belluardo lost to Joel Alvarez via TKO (punches) at 2:22 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night 153 in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
The fight seemed to be going according to plan for Belluardo, who was able to hit reactive takedowns seemingly at will. The tides turned in Round 2, however, when the overanxious, first-time UFC fighter would push too hard for a pass, which resulted in him being swept. From there, Alvarez simply rained down the strikes until the fight was called. Belluardo came into this fight riding a seven-match win streak, but aside from his wrestling game, he didn't show much in his first opportunity at the highest level. He falls to 12-4 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.
