Set to face Chase Hooper at UFC 245
Teymur is scheduled to fight 20-year-old Chase Hooper at UFC 245 on Dec. 14 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Teymur is fresh off of his first UFC victory which occurred at UFC Fight Night 153 back in June. The Swedish fighter was set for a demotion if he were to have lost but was fortunately able to keep his UFC fighting hopes alive with the win via a unanimous decision. The 31-year-old will now face Chase Hooper who is 8-0-1 in all MMA fights but will be making his UFC debut against Teymur in just over a month. Teymur has an overall record of 7-3 in all MMA fights but sports a meager 1-3 showing in UFC fights.

Secures much-needed UFC win
Teymur defeated Sung-Bin Jo via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night 153 in Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Teymur used his aggressive, pressuring style to perfection Saturday, while also throwing in takedowns to offset the debuting fighter's timing. While it must have been a relief to get a victory after starring down the barrel of a four-fight losing streak (and probable pink slip), Teymur's entries and strikes are far too predictable, which puts him in danger even when he is having success. Mixing in some wrestling is a good start, but he will need to vary his striking game in order to have a chance to win rounds consistently. He improves to 7-3 in professional MMA as a result of the victory.

Last chance in Stockholm
Teymur will take on Jo Sung-Bin in a featherweight matchup at UFC Stokholm on June 1, Abhinav Kini of Body Lock MMA reports (via Rank5.kr).
ANALYSIS
After his first three UFC fights did not go his way, this could very well be the end of the line for the older Teymur brother. He'll at least get a chance to fight in front of a home-town Stockholm crowd, but the cards may be stacked against him, as he's matched up with an undefeated opponent that is coming off a victory to make him Top FC Interim Featherweight Champion. All nine of his opponent's wins have been earned by way of stoppage.

Falls to submission yet again
Teymur lost to Chris Fishgold via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:10 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night 145 in Prague, Czech Republic on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Teymur was on defense from the opening bell due to the pressure and takedowns of his opponent. While he did well to defend in Round 1, Fishgold got Teymur to the mat again to open the second frame, eventually finding the back and sinking in the choke. The Swedish fighter came into the UFC with an undefeated record but his striking game and grappling defense don't seem sufficient enough to compete at this level. He falls to 6-3 in professional MMA as a result of the loss, having tasted defeat in three consecutive contests.

Fight in Prague on tap
Teymur will face Chris Fishgold at UFC Prague on Feb. 23.
ANALYSIS
Teymur is in desperate need of a win after losing each of his first two fights under the UFC banner. In fact, the native of Sweden hasn't tasted a victory since the Battle of Botnia in December of 2016.
