Released from UFC

Comes up short in UFC debut Saturday
Dandois lost to Alexis Davis via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night 108 in Nashville on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Dandois was scoring takedowns at will in this fight, but gave away a few positions to Davis that resulted in deep submission attempts. Dandois had a good showing in her UFC debut, but she needs to improve her striking in a big way if she wants to become a contender in the women's bantamweight division.

Signs with UFC, to fight in Nashville
Dandois has signed a deal with the UFC and will face Alexis Davis in Nashville on April 22, Damon Martin of FOX Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
It will be a bit of a tough weight cut for Dandois in her promotional debut, as she has spent the majority of her 10-fight professional career at featherweight. Her claim to fame is a victory over current Invicta featherweight champion Megan Anderson, so the Belgium native certainly is a formidable opponent despite this being her first fight with the promotion. If she gets past Davis, "Battlecat" could elect to keep working her way up the bantamweight path, though it's also possible she moves up to the newly-created featherweight division, where all roads eventually lead to Cris Cyborg.
