Earns UFC contract with win

Lee defeated Long Xiao via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
ANALYSIS
With the victory in the finale of the Road to UFC tournament, Lee becomes the newest member of the UFC roster. It certainly didn't come easy in a fight which could have gone either way. Lee started very slowly but got progressively more effective as the bout went along. He excelled at landing knees in the clinch, many of which left Long hobbled. Ultimately, two of the three judges felt the 30-year-old did enough to earn the win. We should now see him back in the Octagon in fairly short order.

Lee will compete against Long Xiao in a bantamweight fight at UFC Saudi Arabia on June 22, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Both bantamweights are tournament finalists of the Road to UFC's second season. They were expected to compete against each other twice in 2023 but saw their fight canceled both times. Lee, 9-1 in his MMA career, will look to win a UFC contract after finishing both of his first two opponents in the tournament.
