Lewis lost to Trevin Giles via TKO (punches) at 1:26 of Round 3 at UFC on ESPN+ 40 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Lewis and Giles each came out aggressive, but Giles struck first with the takedown. Lewis eventually got up to his feet and pressed Giles against the fence, landing a few knees and foot stomps. The biggest moment of the round, however, was a Giles left jab that sent Lewis to the canvas, likely securing the round for Giles. Lewis slowed a bit in Round 2, failing to use his kicks to prevent Giles from getting into boxing range.
