Notches first UFC win Saturday
Arnett defeated Humberto Bandenay via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-27, 29-27) at UFC Fight Night 140 on Saturday in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
ANALYSIS
Arnett was dealt a tough hand in terms of style matchups in his first two UFC bouts but had a lot to work with in the fight with Bandenay, who tends to give ground and allow his opponents to control the action. Arnett did just that for most of the fight, landing hard body kicks as it was clear that his opponent was slowing down after Round 1. Arnett's defensive limitations may make it difficult for him to progress through the ranks but he is a tough action fighter, which should help him stick around through tough times. His professional MMA record improves to 16-5 as a result of the victory.

Draws Humberto Bandenay in Argentina
Arnett will take on Humberto Bandenay in a featherweight matchup at UFC Argentina on Nov. 17, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Arnett was defeated via unanimous decision on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series, but still got a shot with the company and dropped his first two UFC bouts. He was a massive underdog against Hakeem Dawodu in July and managed to hang for three rounds, but lost the striking battle 23-to-75. He'll now look to turn around his fortunes against Bandenay in what could be his final opportunity under the UFC banner.

Still in search of first UFC win after loss Saturday
Arnett lost to Hakeem Dawodu via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC on FOX 30 on Saturday in Calgary.
ANALYSIS
Arnett had no chance in what was essentially a 15-minute kickboxing match. Outside of a brief stretch early in Round 2 in which he picked up the pace, the 26-year-old looked baffled and hesitant due to the constant pressure of Dawodu. Arnett dropped his bout on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series and he has gone on to lose his first two official bouts with the company. It seems unlikely at this point that he will get a third opportunity with the UFC.

Will look to bounce back against Hakeem Dawodu
Arnett (undisclosed) will take on Hakeem Dawodu in a featherweight matchup at a UFC on FOX event in July, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Arnett's first UFC exposure came last August, when he lost a unanimous decision to Brandon Davis on a fight that was part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender series. He was given an opportunity under the UFC lights despite that setback, but was dismantled by Cory Sandhagen, losing the significant striking battle 32 to 80. He now gets an opponent in Dawodu that also lost his UFC debut, so each fighter will be in desperate need of a good performance to secure their spots on the UFC roster moving forward.
