ANALYSIS
With no home runs in his 33 career KBO games entering play Wednesday, Park was an improbable candidate to take Kiwoom ace Eric Jokisch deep for the first time all season. The 19-year-old wasn't able to do much else in his subsequent three at-bats, but his first-inning long ball provided sufficient support for Samsung starter Jung Hyun Baek, who tossed six innings of shutout ball.
