Vinni Lettieri

Lettieri's best asset is his shot, which is a promising trait for fantasy purposes, but the Minnesota native's offensive success in the AHL hasn't translated well to the NHL level. While the 24-year-old forward has potted 23 goals in each of his last two seasons with AHL Hartford and played at a point-per game pace over 48 AHL contests last season, he has just three points in 46 NHL appearances. Lettieri will likely be on the outside looking in when the Rangers' roster is cut down to size at camp, but he could carve out some value if he makes it by locking down a role on the power play.

Lettieri got his first taste of NHL action last year, posting five points and a minus-12 rating in 19 games. His two-way play likely needs a bit more seasoning at the AHL level, but the Rangers clearly like the 23-year-old center's offensive game considering they bestowed an average of 1:29 in power-play time on Lettieri during his time on Broadway. While he'll be fighting an uphill battle to make the team in camp, Lettieri will have some nice offensive upside if he sticks with the Rangers.
