Impresses at rookie tournament
LWPittsburgh Penguins  Minors
September 17, 2024
Broz performed well at the Penguins' rookie showcase and could make a push for a roster spot during training camp, Matt Vensel of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Broz will be making the jump to the professional ranks this season after signing his entry-level contract following two seasons at the University of Denver. Even if the 21-year-old winger doesn't make the Opening Night roster, he should be in contention to make his NHL debut at some point this season. Given his offensive upside, the Wisconsin native is certainly worth keeping an eye on in keeper/dynasty formats and could even be a waiver wire option in re-draft formats.
