2014 Fantasy Outlook
The 2014-15 campaign will mark Kosmachuk’s first season as a pro, but there’s still an outside shot he could make the Jets' roster out of training camp. What will probably happen, though, is that Kosmachuk will see regular action with AHL St. John’s until he can prove his production warrants a call-up. Kosmachuk raised some eyebrows by tearing up the OHL last year, racking up 49 goals and 52 assists in 68 games with the Guelph Storm. There’s a good chance the Jets will bring him up for a few games here if he can show that his game translates to the improved competition at the AHL level, but he most likely won’t have a fantasy impact for a couple more years.
