Mikkola produced six points, 151 hits, 106 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 81 games between the Blues and the Rangers last year. He was included in the package to New York that also saw Vladimir Tarasenko end up with the Rangers, but neither player ended up being more than a rental. Mikkola will now try his luck in Florida, where the injury-ravaged Panthers blue line could certainly allow him a more advanced role early in 2023-24. The Finn is more of a physical force than a scoring threat, so don't expect him to produce enough offense to be a factor in fantasy.
