2023 Fantasy Outlook
Shaw was not qualified this summer after sustaining a torn ACL in April. He posted a respectable 17 points in 59 games with the Wild last season, but there's been no clear timeline offered on his recovery, which is likely to at least stretch into the start of the 2023-24 season. It may be enough to keep him from getting a professional tryout during camp, so this is likely a case of a player needing to rehab an injury before latching on with a team on a two-way deal during the campaign. Regardless of where Shaw ends up, he's likely to be just a fourth-line option that won't be a factor in fantasy.
