Finding a permanent abode has been a challenge for Dahlen, a smooth attacking-zone operator known for his slick hands. The 21-year-old has already been traded twice, and his NHL debut remains on hold. Drafted in the second round (42nd overall) by Ottawa in 2016, Dahlen compiled 15 goals and 16 assists between two seasons for AHL Utica before the Sharks scooped him up and relegated him to the AHL, where he proceeded to dial in four assists in seven games as part of the 2018-19 campaign. There will be immense pressure for Dahlen to make a splash at the Shark Tank this year, as his entry-level deal will expire in the summer of 2020. He's worth a speculative stash in deep dynasty leagues, but there are obstacles to be cleared.
