While the NHL games weren't there for Othmann last year, he suited up in just three regular-season contests for the Rangers, his scoring touch was on full display in the minors. With AHL Hartford, the 21-year-old winger racked up 21 goals and 28 assists in 67 regular-season appearances before adding another five points in 10 Calder Cup games. Othmann has been practicing as a bottom-six forward alongside Nick Bonino and Jonny Brodzinski while also filling in on the second power-play unit. Othmann was selected 16th overall in 2021 and had nine goals and 23 points in 28 AHL games with Hartford before his recall.
