Handed a hefty four-year, $19 million deal in the summer of 2022, Chiarot rewarded the Red Wings with five goals, 14 assists, and a minus-31 rating in 76 games last season. In other words, not great. On a more positive note, Chiarot posted 147 hits and 164 blocked shots, and the plus-minus rating should improve as the team plays a bit better, so all hope is not lost. Chiarot is never going to add much offensively, so he's only a fantasy option for those that are desperate for hits and blocks in the late rounds.
