2024–25 Time On Ice Stats
Past Fantasy Outlooks
Cloutier announced that he was retiring in April of 2010 after failing to April 2010 and was looking to catch on and coach.
Before developing a hip injury midway through the 2006-07 season, Cloutier was on his way to seeing less ice time anyways. He finished the season with a weak .860 save percentage and 3.98 goals against average to go along with a 6-14-2 record. Jason LaBarbera and Jonathan Bernier appear to be the Kings' primary choices for the starting job, as Cloutier has cleared waivers and will open the season in the AHL with Manchester.
He has been crowned the starting goaltender for the Kings, but don't expect too much from him as he is recovering from knee surgery. Also, the Kings defense last season was, to put it nicely, porous.
One of only two 2 goalies to post 30 win seasons in each of the last three years (Martin Brodeur is the other). The 2004-05 season shapes up to be no different. The Vancouver roster is stacked with guys who can put the puck in the net, which means he has no problems with lack of support on the other end of the ice. He also has the tools and desire to be considered a top tier netminder, so slacking off is not an option with him. Another 30 win season is in the mix.
