Tuesday was a night of returns: Patrick Roy went back to Montreal, Matt Moulson went to Long Island, and Chris Kunitz Returned From Injury.
2014 Fantasy Outlook
Albert made his NHL debut last season in his third year as a pro, but only managed to notch one goal in a nine-game stint with the Jets. He’s probably going to spend much of 2014-15 with AHL St. John’s again, where he racked up 28 goals and 17 assists in 63 games last season. He obviously has the ability to finish around the net, but he needs to prove to the team that his skills will translate to the next level. He’ll likely get another crack at the NHL at some point, and if he can provide some decent offensive production, he could stick around longer than nine games this time. He’s not worth picking up in fantasy leagues at this point, but it would be wise to keep an eye on him when he gets called up.
