Hatcher will be moved to the long-term injury list after the first game of the season due to his degenerated right knee. He is no force on the stat sheet and may not play at all this season.
Hatcher led the team in hits (180, 23rd in the NHL) and blocked shots (162, tied for 19th in the NHL). He was winner of 2006-07 Barry Ashbee Trophy as the Flyers' most outstanding defenseman. All three of his goals were power play goals and he was the only Flyer to play in all 82 games this season. You can bet he's going to have another very solid year.
Hatcher doesn't put up points anymore and he doesn't get many penalty minutes either. He is also hurt often. Stay away.
Don't confuse being a stud blueliner with being a stud fantasy blueliner - Hatcher's value is greater with the Flyers, as opposed to being on your team. Nevertheless, a 27-point output is realistic.
