Saturday's massive, 15-game NHL slate beginning at 3:00 PM Eastern time presents the final opportunity for regular-season DFS play, as Sunday's season finale only has one game on the docket. The recommendations below should allow owners to close out this campaign on a high note while avoiding unappealing options that could get in the way of that success.
GOALIE
Braden Holtby, WAS vs. NJ ($23): Holtby's gotten back on track down the stretch, winning four of his past five starts. With uncertainty over whether he or Philipp Grubauer will be the Game 1 starter in the playoffs, Holtby will be motivated to improve his case in the season finale. Holtby's 21-7-2record, 2.39 GAA and .922 save percentage at home suggest he should be able to do just that despite his minimal valuation.
GOALIE TO AVOID
Sergei Bobrovsky, CLS at NSH ($38): Bobrovsky's team has officially clinched a playoff berth, but he's not exactly in form right now with nine goals allowed over his past two starts. His price remains sky-high despite those struggles, making Bobrovsky one to avoid against a Predators team that's outscored opponents 3.17 to 2.49 on average overall and is 27-9-4 in Nashville.

CENTER
Ryan Spooner, NYR at PHI ($13): The Rangers would like nothing more than to knock their Metropolitan Division rivals out of the playoffs, which can be done with a regulation victory and two wins by Florida to close the season. If New York's to be successful in doing so, Spooner will likely play a key role. The pending restricted free agent has exceeded expectations for his price with 16 points in 19 games since being acquired at the trade deadline, and he's likely to finish strong against Flyers netminder Brian Elliott, who just returned from core muscle surgery Thursday and owns an uninspiring 2.73 GAA and .908 save percentage.
CENTER TO AVOID
Jack Eichel, BUF at FLA ($22): In 10 games since returning from injury, Eichel's scored 2.5 or fewer fantasy points five times. His low floor is due in large part to a minus-9 rating over that stretch, which is at great risk of plummeting further against a desperate Panthers team that's trying to keep its playoff hopes alive.
WING
Colton Sceviour, FLA vs. BUF ($13): Sceviour remains the second-cheapest member of Florida's top-six forward group even though he's scored at least 10.7 fantasy points in each of his past three games while getting on the scoresheet in every contest. That hot streak hasn't been lost on coach Bob Boughner, who has increased Sceviour's ice time in each subsequent game during that stretch, topping out at 19:27 Thursday. Given the circumstances, Sceviour's a low-risk, high-reward option against a Sabres team that's getting outscored 3.34 to 2.38 on average.
Daniel Sedin, VAN at EDM ($14): The shoot-first Sedin twin gave the Vancouver crowd plenty to cheer about in his last career home appearance, delivering two goals against the Coyotes including the overtime winner. Similar success in his 1,306th and final NHL game is very possible against an Edmonton team that's allowing the fourth-most goals per game (3.21) in the league. WINGS TO AVOID
Brad Marchand, BOS vs. OTT ($32): Perhaps he's saving his energy for the postseason, but Marchand's been a non-factor of late with just 2.1 fantasy points over his past four games combined. Even in a favorable matchup, it's tough to feel good about dropping $32 on a player in such poor form. Plus, it's not like Boston lacks quality alternatives on the wing. One such option is Jake DeBrusk, who has eight points in his last seven games and can be had for $12 cheaper. Owners with a sense of morality also get to avoid the guilt of benefiting from the actions of a bona fide cheap-shot artist, as Marchand's $5,000 fine for cross-checking a prone Andrew MacDonald in the face Sunday was his 10th fine or suspension for dirty play since 2011.
Richard Panik, ARI vs. ANH ($20): Panik (5.0) and teammate Max Domi (4.4) are the only wingers priced at $19 or more and averaging fewer than 5.6 fantasy points per contest, but at least Domi has been consistently getting on the scoresheet since mid-February. On the other hand, Panik has just 19 points in 34 games since coming to Arizona at the trade deadline, and his recent hot streak still leaves him with just 35 points in 71 games for the season. Owners that pay $20 for that production against an Anaheim team that allows the fourth-fewest goals per game (2.58) are likely to end up disappointed.
DEFENSE
Mathew Dumba, MIN at SJ ($20): With Ryan Suter (lower body) joining Jared Spurgeon (hamstring) on the sidelines, Dumba's been thrust into an even more expansive role and excelled with the added responsibility. In three games since Suter went down, Dumba has two goals, three points and 11 shots in over 26 minutes of average ice time. Expect another strong effort in the finale against a Sharks team that's won only once in its last five games.
Morgan Rielly, TOR vs. MON ($21): Montreal's 74.4 percent penalty kill is second worst in the league, which is music to Rielly's ears. His 24 power-play points are second on the Leafs behind $24 winger Mitch Marner's 27, and Reilly has six fewer games played. The skilled blueliner's also been locked in of late in general, dishing 16 assists in his last 17 games.
DEFENSEMEN TO AVOID
Dougie Hamilton, CGY vs. VGK ($19): Hamilton's a great player, but Calgary's recent injuries up front and struggles in net have put him in a tough spot. As a result, he's exceeded 2.7 fantasy points only twice in the past seven games, so expectations should be low against a Vegas team that's outscoring opponents 3.30 to 2.69 on average.
John Klingberg, DAL at LA ($20): Like many of his teammates, Klingberg has some pretty drastic home/road splits -- six goals, 38 points and a plus-10 rating at home compared to two goals, 27 points and minus-1 away. Don't expect the offense-minded blueliner to close that production gap in Los Angeles, as the Kings allow a league-low 2.44 goals per game.
