Goalie
Anton Forsberg, CHI vs OTT ($7,900): Forsberg continues to fill in for the injured Corey Crawford and has held his own while getting little to no goal support. The Senators average 2.69 GPG, which is 24th in the league, while sporting a putrid 7-17-4 record on the road.
Center
Erik Haula, VGK vs CGY ($6,400): The Golden Knights have won three of their last four home games compiling 15 goals over that span. This has been a trend that we've seen all season, as Vegas is 22-5-2 in its own arena. Haula has produced seven goals, three assists, and 38 shots on goal over his last 15 games. Over the last month, the Flames have allowed the second-most fantasy points to centers, including 20 goals and 26 assists.
Nick Schmaltz, CHI vs OTT ($5,700): Schmaltz is manning the second line for Chicago between Patrick Kane and Artem Anisimov. The 2014 first-rounder has notched 16 goals, four on the power play, and dished out 24 assists while averaging 18:40 of ice time. Ottawa has been a defensive liability all season allowing 3.43 GPG. It's also allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to centers over the last month.
Wing
Brandon Saad, CHI vs OTT ($5,600): Saad hasn't produced like most thought he would in his return to Chicago but is in a good spot Wednesday. The Pennsylvania native has buried two goals, added an assist, and fired 11 shots on goal in his last three games. The Senators have allowed 14 goals and 13 assists to left wings in their last 13 games, leaving Saad, who skates on the top line with Jonathan Toews, as a great value option.
Matthew Tkachuk, CGY at VGK ($6,800): The 20-year-old has 12 goals in his last 18 games. More recently, Tkachuk has a point in five of his last six games with five goals and two assists over that span. The 2016 No. 6 pick has averaged 6.50 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes — the fifth-highest mark in the NHL. 15 of Tkachuk's 43 points have come on the power play.
Jakob Silfverberg, ANH vs DAL ($5,000): Silfverberg recorded a goal for the first time in nine games Monday. In his last seven games against the Stars, the Swede has two goals, five assists, and 21 shots on net. Silfverberg has been a quality second-half performer over the last two seasons, compiling 24 goals and 18 assists in 66 games after the All-Star break.
Defense
Dougie Hamilton, CGY at VGK ($5,900): Hamilton has been rolling with four goals in his last three games, including a hat trick Saturday that led to some massive tournament takedowns. The sixth-year NHLer has tied his career high in goals with 13 to go along with 21 assists. This matchup with Vegas works well in his favor, as the Golden Knights have allowed the second-most fantasy points to defensemen over the last four weeks.
Duncan Keith, CHI vs OTT ($5,600): Keith finally tallied his first goal of the season a couple of games ago. Ottawa has allowed the second-most fantasy points to defensemen on the campaign, and Keith has recorded two goals and four assists in his last five games against the Senators.
