Goalie
Marc-Andre Fleury, VGK vs VAN ($8,400): At a more than a reasonable price, facing one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league, and coming off of a 42-save shutout, expect Fleury to be one of the more popular goalies on the slate. Vegas is 25-9-2 at home and Vancouver averages just 2.58 GPG, which is 27th in the league. Fleury has won 26 of his 40 starts and has a respectable .929 save percentage.
Center
Sebastian Aho, CAR vs EDM ($6,600): Aho, centering the second line for Carolina of late, has a point in five straight games with two goals and four assists over that span. The Oilers have surrendered the second most fantasy points to centers over the last month. Allowing 15 goals and 24 assists during that stretch, Aho should be able to capitalize on Edmonton's deficiencies up the middle.
Erik Haula, VGK vs VAN ($6,500): In his last four games, Haula has four goals, one assist, and 12 SOG. The Canucks have allowed the fourth-most points over the last month to centers with 41 points — 18 goals — surrendered, as well as allowing the third most fantasy points over that time. The second line center has six points — two goals — in his last eight games against Vancouver.
Wing
Gabriel Landeskog, COL at CHI ($6,400): The Avalanche captain has two goals and five assists over his last three outings and draws a great matchup with Chicago. The Blackhawks have allowed 32 points — 10 goals — over their last 14 games to left wingers. Landeskog has nine points over his last 11 games against Chicago.
James van Riemsdyk, TOR at TB ($6,700): JVR is red-hot with five goals, an assist and 14 SOG over his last three games. The veteran has a goal in each of his last two outings against the Lightning and five goals with two assists in his last eight against Tampa. The second overall pick of the 2007 draft does most of his work close to the net, as he leads the NHL with 9.06 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes.
Cam Atkinson, CBJ at NYR ($6,300): The shifty winger has four goals in his last three games and is a force in close, regardless of his size. Atkinson averages the fifth most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes in 5-on-5 situations with 5.73. This is a telling number, especially with the Rangers allowing the third most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes with 12.73.
Defense
Shayne Gostisbehere, PHI at DET ($6,200): Gostisbehere has two goals, an assist and 13 SOG over his last four games. Detroit has allowed 12 goals and 30 assists to defensemen over the last month, contributing to the second-most fantasy points allowed to the position over that span. Gostisbehere has 12 goals (11th among defensemen), 41 assists (seventh), and six power-play goals (first).
Zach Werenski, CBJ at NYR ($5,300): Werenski has a point in four straight games against the Rangers with a goal and four assists over that span. Over his last eight games, the 21-year-old has three goals, three assists and 21 SOG. His 14 goals are fifth among defensemen, and that total could grow, as the Rangers have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to defensemen this season.
