Goalie
Cam Talbot, EDM at OTT ($7,900): Talbot has played well in his last two starts considering that he's seen 33 and 42 shots in those games respectively. Over his last six starts he's 5-1-0and in the one loss he only allowed one goal on 32 shots. The Senators are 24th in the league with 2.74 GPG and have just six goals in their last three games.
Center
Leon Draisaitl, EDM at OTT ($6,300): The Senators have allowed the third-most fantasy points to centers over the last four weeks, including 16 goals and 27 assists. Draisaitl has a goal, four assists and 10 SOG over his last three games and is a less expensive pivot off teammate Connor McDavid. Ottawa has the third-worst GAA at an astounding 3.39 while allowing 33.4 SOG per contest.
Jonathan Toews, CHI vs VAN ($6,400): The Blackhawks are not going to the playoffs for the first time in seemingly forever, but they still draw a favorable matchup Thursday. Vancouver has allowed 20 goals and 22 assists to centers over its last 13 games, and Toews comes into this matchup in good form. The Blackhawk captain has two goals and five assists in his last six outings and nine points — two goals — in his last eight games against the Canucks.
Wing
Anders Lee, NYI vs TB ($6,400): Lee is red-hot with five goals in his last five games while firing 16 SOG over that span. The big winger is fifth in the league in high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes at a 6.89 clip. Lee is third in the league among wingers with 12 power-play goals and could bury another with the man advantage Thursday against Tampa Bay's 26th-ranked penalty kill.
Travis Konecny, PHI vs NYR ($5,800): Konecny is in a good spot skating on the Flyers' top line against a Rangers team that is going nowhere. The winger has two goals and three assists in his last five games and had a goal and two assists in his last outing against the Rangers. The Rangers have allowed 21 points — five goals — in their last 13 games against right wingers, and you can expect Konecny to do some damage against them Thursday.
Nick Bjugstad, FLA at CBJ ($5,600): With two goals and four assists in his last six outings, Bjugstad is taking advantage of skating on the top line with Aleksander Barkov and Evgenii Dadonov. The Panthers are 12th in the NHL with 3.04 GPG and are on fire of late, going 7-2-1 in their last 10 with 14 goals in their last four games.
Defense
John Carlson, WAS at DET ($6,000): It's hard to believe how poor the Red Wings have been defensively over the last month, especially against defensemen. In the last four weeks, they've allowed the second-most fantasy points to the position, including 13 goals and 26 assists over the 14-game stretch. Carlson has a point in each of his last six games with three goals and five assists over that span.
Alexander Edler, VAN at CHI ($5,300): Edler is a steady fantasy-point producer and has a solid floor with his propensity to get shots on net and block shots. The Blackhawks have allowed the most fantasy points to defensemen over the last four weeks. Edler has a point in three straight games against Chicago and should be a very contrarian play.
