Goalie
Roberto Luongo, FLA vs MTL ($8,300): Luongo comes in with five wins in his last six starts and has a history against Montreal. In 37 games vs Montreal, he has a GAA of 2.48 and a save percentage of .921. The Canadiens have struggled all season long, especially on the road with s 9-20-3 record away from Bell Centre snd have a team GFA of 2.56 which is the third-highest mark in the NHL.
Center
Brayden Point, TB vs NYR ($6,500): Point has two goals and an assist in his last three outings and draws a juicy matchup Thursday. Over the last four weeks, the Rangers have allowed 24 goals and 30 assists to centers. The 21-year-old pivot has two goals and an assist against the Rangers in the last three matchups and will look to continue producing for the highest-scoring team in the NHL.
Mathew Barzal, NYI at EDM ($6,300): This game features two of the best players in the league, both of which are centers in Connor McDavid and John Tavares. Barzal sneaks in as a semi-value option in a soft matchup, as the Oilers have allowed the second-most fantasy points to centers over the last month. During that 15-game span, centers have torched Edmonton for 25 goals and 23 assists.
Wing
Kyle Connor, WPG at NJ ($4,700): Winnipeg has scored 10 goals during a three-game winning streak and is third in the league with 3.35 GPG. Connor has gone scoreless in his last three outings, but still spends his ice time on the top line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler, suggesting that his production should get back on track in no time.
Evander Kane, SJ vs STL ($6,600): Kane has been rejuvenated since being acquired by the Sharks with a point in each of his three games with the new club. Kane has a goal, four assists and nine shots over the three outings. The speedy winger was having a solid season for the Sabres and currently sits with 21 goals, 24 assists and 3.69 SOG per game, which is third most amongst wingers. The Blues have allowed 12 goals and 85 SOG to left wingers over their last 11 games.
Tyler Toffoli, LA vs WAS ($6,100): The second-line right winger has a points in four of his last five games with two goals, two assists and 21 shots on goal over that span. The Capitals have a ton of questions in net these days with Braden Holtby playing as bad as ever. Washington has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to right wingers over the last four weeks, too.
Defense
Nick Leddy, NYI at EDM ($5,200): The Oilers have allowed the fourth-most fantasy production to defensemen over the last month, including 36 points over that span. Leddy has a point in two of his last three games and 38 points on the campaign. In a game that should see some pace and scoring, look for Leddy to use his offensive skills and skating ability in a plus-matchup.
Zach Werenski, CBJ vs COL ($5,200): The Avalanche have allowed 35 points over their last 14 games to defensemen. Werenski has 13 goals and 17 assists on the campaign, but over his last four games, he has two goals, two assists and nine SOG.
