Goalie
Pekka Rinne, NSH vs BUF ($9,000): I find it very hard not to pencil in Rinne for a victory on Saturday, as he will be up against an awful Sabres team. The veteran has notched 41 wins this season with a .928 save percentage and eight shutouts – with one of them from last month versus Buffalo. There's value in finding a guy who is nearly a lock to earn a victory on FanDuel, and Rinne is that guy for me on Saturday.
Center
Ryan Johansen, NSH vs BUF ($5,800): Johansen continues to be a cheap option at center and draws an elite matchup. Buffalo has allowed the third-most fantasy points to centers over the last four weeks and Johansen has tallied two goals and two assists in his last six outings. Furthermore, the former Blue Jacket has struck for two goals and two assists in his last three against the Sabres.
Mathew Barzal, NYI at NJ ($6,300): The Isles' second-line center has racked up two goals and six assists over his last seven games and remains the odds-on favorite to win the Calder Trophy. Barzal has notched three points in three games against the Devils, sees top power-play time, and costs $2,000 cheaper than John Tavares.
Wing
Kyle Palmieri, NJ vs NYI ($6,300): Palmieri is rolling with a three-game goal streak, lighting the lamp four times over that stretch. He is projected to find the scoresheet on Saturday facing a D that's allowed the third-most fantasy points to right wingers over the last month. To add to his value, Palmieri has notched three goals in his last two outings against the Islanders.
Kevin Fiala, NSH vs BUF ($4,300): The Predators should have their way against the team that has allowed the third-most fantasy points – 13 goals and 26 assists – to left wingers over the last 13 games. Fiala may have only tallied two points over his last seven, but he should get back on track in this matchup.
Jeff Skinner, CAR vs NYR ($5,700): The Hurricanes' sniper has totaled three goals and three assists in his last four outings. The Rangers have allowed 16 goals and 12 assists to left wingers over their last 13 contests, while Skinner has impressed with four goals and three assists in his last eight. Skinner shoots at a high rate, making him a great candidate to find the back of the net on Saturday.
Defense
Ryan Ellis, NSH vs BUF ($5,700): Ellis is just one of many dangerous defensemen on Nashville, with two goals and two assists in his last three matchups. With the Sabres having allowed 10 goals and 20 assists to defensemen over their last 13 games and as Ellis receives plenty of power-play minutes, he ranks as a top blueline value.
Alex Pietrangelo, STL at ARI ($5,800): Pietrangelo has notched 15 goals and 37 assists on the campaign and finds himself in a favorable spot to improve those numbers against Arizona. The Blues' captain has impressed with three goals and six assists in his last six overall and three goals and three assists in his last six versus the Coyotes.
