Goalie
Frederik Andersen, TOR vs DET ($8,300): After consecutive poor appearances, Andersen bounced back in his last start with a win over Nashville. Expect the Dane to be one of the more popular goaltenders, but he's still one of the safest options on the slate with Detroit's putrid offense posting a 2.49 goals-per-game average.
Center
Matt Duchene, OTT vs CAR ($5,900): In his last six games, Duchene has notched four goals, three assists and 18 shots on goal. He faces the Hurricanes on Saturday, who have allowed the most fantasy points to centers – 18 goals and 42 assists – over the last month. Duchene's talent is back on full display after a shaky start following the trade from Colorado earlier in the season, as he's posted 39 points in 56 contests during his time in Ottawa.
Jeff Carter, LA at EDM ($6,400): While some may be chasing Anze Kopitar's four-goal effort from Thursday, Carter remains the better value in this spot. The Oilers have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to centers over the last four weeks, and Carter has tallied four goals and an assist in his last six outings. In 27 career matchups against Edmonton, the veteran has 28 points — including 18 goals — and ranks third in the NHL over the last month with 7.4 high-danger scoring chances-per-60 minutes.
Wing
Josh Bailey, NYI vs CHI ($6,100): In what promises to be a high-scoring affair, Bailey jumps out as a winger to consider as a member of one of the league's top lines. He has posted a goal, three assists and 10 shots on goal in his last three and faces a Blackhawks side who have allowed an NHL-worst 19 goals and 14 assists to right wingers during the last month.
William Nylander, TOR vs DET ($5,700): Nylander has notched a point in three of his last four games to go with 12 shots on goal, having slotted back to his natural right-wing position after the return of Auston Matthews. The Red Wings have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to right wingers during March, so Nylander and the Leafs should do some damage in this home matchup.
T.J. Oshie, WAS at MON ($5,700): Oshie has been red-hot since being reunited with playmaking wizard Nicklas Backstrom, potting four goals and adding an assist over his last five contests. The Canadiens have allowed 12 goals and 12 assists to right wingers over their last 14, while the Capitals have gone 7-3 in their last 10 – including 22 goals in their last five.
Defense
Morgan Rielly, TOR vs DET ($5,300): Rielly has racked up a point in six of his last seven games, totaling 10 assists over that stretch. The Red Wings should be a favorable matchup for the offensive-minded defenseman, as they've allowed the third-most fantasy points to blueliners over the last month, with 11 goals and 24 assists over a 14-game stretch.
Nick Leddy, NYI vs CHI ($4,800): Leddy represents a tremendous value at $4,800, his lowest salary since early November. Chicago has allowed the most fantasy points to defensemen – 11 goals and 34 assists – over the last month, so Leddy – a former Blackhawk – has a great chance to make his way on the scoresheet.
