Goalie
Frederik Andersen, TOR vs MTL ($8,300): Andersen will look to continue his success against the Canadiens, against whom he's won his last two matchups allowing a total of three goals. The Dane has picked up 33 wins in 58 appearances this season, equaling the number he set last year. Provided he's healthy tonight, Andersen should see plenty of shots with Montreal averaging 33.3 shots on goal per game – ranking them eighth in the league – while Toronto allows an average of 34.1 shots against.
Center
Brayden Schenn, STL vs NYR ($6,300): The Blues should fare much better against the Rangers than they did in their recent home defeat to the Avalanche. The Blueshirts come in with a 12-19-3 road record, while the Blues sit five games above .500 in their own building. The matchup for Schenn looks enticing, as the Rangers have allowed 21 goals and 29 assists in their last 13 contests to centers – the most of any team during that time. Schenn is due for a big night, even he's only notched one point in his last three.
Tyler Bozak, TOR vs MTL ($4,600): Bozak has been hot, with a goal and three assists in his last three outings. He'll have a great chance to continue this run against Montreal, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points (44) to centers over the last four weeks.
Wing
Cam Atkinson, CBJ vs OTT ($6,300): Atkinson has also done well of late, tallying three goals and four assists in his last six matchups. He's also potted five goals and three assists in his last seven against the Sens, who are playing their second game in as many nights. In five-on-five situations, Atkinson ranks fourth in the league averaging 5.92 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes. I'm locking him in everywhere on Saturday.
Jeff Skinner, CAR vs PHI ($5,500): Skinner's salary hasn't been lower this season and he provides great value against a team whom he's succeeded. In his last 11 versus the Flyers, the sniper has notched six goals, three assists, and 38 shots on goal. Skinner is a shooter through and through, so much so that he's the fourth-best NHLer with 11.66 shots per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations trailing only Tyler Toffoli, Brendan Gallagher, and Rick Nash.
Tomas Hertl, SJ at VAN ($5,400): Hertl is starting to pick up his play with three goals and an assist in his last two outings. And in his last 13 against Vancouver, the 24-year old forward has posted seven goals and six assists. To his advantage, Hertl lines up on the second unit with Logan Couture and Mikkel Boedker and also sees time on the top power play.
Defense
Zach Werenski, CBJ vs OTT ($5,400): Werenski is another Blue Jacket I have interest in tonight. He's racked up two goals and two assists in his last five games versus Ottawa and two goals and two assists in his last five overall. Werenski looks to be a nice cap saver over teammate Seth Jones, who will probably be heavily owned.
Morgan Rielly, TOR vs MTL ($5,000): With at least one point in his last four outings – where he's totaled six assists – few value blueliners have been producing as much as Rielly of late or have been as consistent. With the Canadiens having allowed the second-most fantasy points to defensemen over the last four weeks, Rielly should build upon his career-high point total of 43.
