Goalie
Marc-Andre Fleury, VGK vs MTL ($8,600): Any time the Golden Knights are playing at home, I'm interested in Fleury. Vegas boasts an astonishing 21-4-2 home record and welcome the Canadiens, who sport one of the worst road records at 8-18-1. Fleury has won each of his last two starts and shouldn't slow down on Saturday with Montreal averaging a putrid 2.53 goals-per-game.
Center
Ryan Johansen, NSH vs DET ($6,100): Nashville scores a home matchup with the Red Wings, who have struggled with a 3.02 GAA, which puts them 22nd in the league. On top of this, they have allowed 18 goals and 24 assists to centers over the last 12 games. Johansen has recorded three points in his last three outings and skates on the top line for the Predators, who average 3.05 GPG.
Nico Hischier, NJ at TB ($5,600): The first overall pick of 2017 has stepped up over his last three appearances with two goals and four assists. The Lightning have allowed 14 goals and 29 assists over its last 13 games to centers, which counts as the fourth-worst fantasy point team total allowed over the last month.
Wing
Reilly Smith, VGK vs MTL ($6,100): The Golden Knights have shocked the hockey world all season, and Smith has been no different. He has notched a point in six straight games with three goals, six assists, and 3.33 shots on goal per game over this streak. As mentioned earlier, the Canadiens have looked poor on the road, where they've only managed a 3.09 GAA.
Evgenii Dadonov, FLA at CGY ($5,200): Dadonov has tallied three goals over his last two outings. The 28-year old remains one of the key cogs on the Panthers' first line and also sees sufficient power-play time. Of his 34 points, nine have come on the man-advantage, where he's been averaging 3:23 on the year. The Flames have allowed 14 goals over its last four games, making Dadonov a value option with high upside.
Ryan Spooner, BOS at VAN ($4,300): The Canucks present a favorable matchup for the Bruins, with Spooner sitting in a great value spot. With a point in three of his last four, he will look to improve upon his season numbers (nine goals, 15 assists) against the club that has allowed the second-most fantasy points to right wingers over the last month.
Defense
Ryan Ellis, NSH vs DET ($4,900): Ellis remains criminally underpriced in a favorable contest against Detroit. The offensive defender has recorded a point in four of his last six while averaging 3.33 SOG per game. In 18 games this season, Ellis has put up three goals, six assists, with 2.39 SOG per game.
John Carlson, WAS at CHI ($5,900): Carlson should continue his hot run against the Blackhawks, as he's notched a point in four of his last five appearances. Chicago has allowed six goals and 30 assists to defensemen, which counts as the most fantasy points over the last month to that position. Look for the American-born blueliner to produce, as he's clearly skating with purpose of late.
