SLATE PREVIEW
All the playoff spots but one have been decided, but the Canadiens can clinch if they can earn a point when they host the Oilers at 7 p.m. EDT Other scenarios involving playoff teams include the Islanders visiting the Bruins (7 p.m.) to see who will face the division-winning Penguins, while the Golden Knights can clinch the division title if they can beat the Avalanche (10 p.m.)
GOALIES
Jake Oettinger, DAL at CHI ($8,200): I like Oettinger's chances more than Malcolm Subban's, who's expected to start after Anton Khudobin face Kevin Lankinen on Sunday. The Stars have been banged up all season but haven't run out of gas, putting 39 shots on net. With a thin and relatively inexperienced defense, look for the Stars offense to generate a lot of chances again.
Cal Petersen, LA vs. STL ($7,100): The Blues are on a losing skid once again and they've already lost five times to the Kings this season. Petersen, on the other hand, looked very good in two starts against the Avalanche, and he sports a .925 Sv% and just six even-strength goals allowed in four games against the Blues this season.
Laurent Brossoit, WPG vs. VAN ($6,900): Brossoit should be a popular pick based on his past performance against the Canucks; he's 2-0 with a .968 Sv% with a shutout this season, and 4-0 with a .971 Sv% and two shutouts in his career. This is the third game of the Canucks' six-game road trip.
VALUE PLAYS
Gabriel Vilardi, LA vs. STL ($3,600): Vilardi has scored four points in his past three games and he will likely center the second line against a team whose goaltending has been in shambles for most of the season.
Adam Gaudette, CHI vs. DAL ($3,600): Gaudette managed just one shot in 12 minutes of play on Sunday, but as long as he gets to play on Patrick Kane's line, it should give him more upside than his usual middle-six role.
LINE STACKS
Devils at Flyers
Jack Hughes (C - $4,700), Yegor Sharangovich (W - $4,600), Janne Kuokkanen (W - $3,500)
They've combined for 17 points against the Flyers this season with Sharangovich leading the way with five goals and seven points. Given how awful the Flyers' goaltending has been and how well the Devils have fared against them, this can be a good value line stack.
Kings vs. Blues
Anze Kopitar (C - $6,700), Adrian Kempe (W - $4,200), Andreas Athanasiou (W - $3,500)
Kempe and Athanasiou keeps the cost of this stack low, and Kopitar has proven his entire career that he can drag any winger up to his level. The Blues have not played well against the Kings and they've allowed four goals in four of their past six games.
Panthers vs. Lightning
Sam Bennett (C - $4,500), Jonathan Huberdeau (W - $7,500), Owen Tippett (W - $3,400)
Bennett and Tippett are good value plays on their own, and this line has been very good since being put together. Tippett's on a three-game point streak and adds some size and finish around the net on this line, while Bennett has been a revelation since getting traded and now has 15 points in 10 games as a Panther.
Stars at Blackhawks
Jamie Benn (W - $6,300), Jason Robertson (W - $5,800), Denis Gurianov (W - $4,600)
Benn and Gurianov were just two of three Stars forwards to appear on the scoresheet on Sunday. The Stars may juggle their lines after playing with 11 forwards, but Benn and Robertson is clearly their No. 1 pair and Gurianov is a nice value play with an increased role on the top line. The Stars didn't receive a single power play but both Benn and Robertson are regulars on PP1 while Gurianov is utilized on PP2.
DEFENSEMEN
Tyson Barrie, EDM at MON ($6,500): The Connor McDavid continues to run and his historic stretch is unlikely to slow down. The Habs should put forth a strong effort after failing to clinch on Saturday, but their special teams continue to be a sore spot, and that's where Barrie shines. He's on a five-game point streak and he's basically been a point-per-game player since February.
Cale Makar, COL at VGK ($5,900): A division title is on the line and it's a preview of a potential West Division semi-final, so expect quite a bit of intensity even though both teams have clinched. Makar's a better value play compared to Shea Theodore and Alex Pietrangelo, and over the past six games has scored eight points on 22 shots.
MacKenzie Weegar, FLA vs. TB ($4,300): Since April 1, Weegar has scored 16 points in 17 games, but he continues to be undervalued in most DFS formats. The Lightning are a tough opponent but they seem to be falling apart at the worst time, and will have key players out of the lineup. Neither team has much to play for other than home-ice advantage, but the Panthers have much more positive momentum at the moment.
Will Butcher, NJ at PHI ($3,500): Look for the Devils to keep playing their young defensemen, and that includes Butcher, who averaged 17:26 in the first month of the season to 20:26 in May. The upside is higher than usual because they're playing the Flyers, who have allowed a division-worst 199 goals. Butcher will quarter a stacked top unit that includes Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier.
