This article is part of our DraftKings NHL series.
The main contests at DraftKings begin at 6 p.m. ET and consist of the four evening games. Here are a handful of players across multiple price ranges to consider while assembling your lineups.
GOALIE
Jean-Francois Berube, NYI vs. COL ($8,100): This will be Colorado's second road game in consecutive nights and third contest in four days, and the Avalanche enter with the league's worst record (15-35-2) and worst offense (2.04 goals per game). While this is strictly a matchup lean because Berube owns a .896 save percentage this year and has made just 10 career starts, all eight teams are on the second leg of back-to-back games, so it's already a volatile goalie pool.
CENTER
John Tavares, NYI vs. COL ($7,700): As noted, this is a juicy matchup for the Islanders. Colorado has allowed the most goals per game in the league (3.37) with the second worst team save percentage (.895), and Tavares has nine goals, 17 points and 57 shots through his past 14 games. He doesn't break the bank considering his status as a top-tier scorer, either.
Calle Jarnkrok, NAS vs. DAL ($3,500): Currently playing the best hockey -- and providing the best fantasy results -- of his career, Jarnkrok has four goals, nine points and 17 shots through his past eight games. His emergence allowed Nashville to exile Mike Ribeiro to the minors, and Jarnkrok continues to center an intriguing line with James Neal and Colin Wilson on his flanks. Additionally, at this salary, Jarnkrok is a solid source of cap relief.
WING
David Pastrnak, BOS vs. MON ($7,000): The Canadiens will be playing their sixth game in nine nights and have a single win through six February contests. Montreal has also allowed 12 goals through its past three games. Pastrnak enters with six goals, 13 points and 31 shots through his past seven games, so he checks out as a lineup building block at this salary.
Evander Kane, BUF vs. VAN ($5,400): The high-volume shooter is criminally underrated. Kane's notched 18 goals, 26 points and 130 shots through his past 34 games, but he's priced as a middling fantasy asset. He skated with Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart on Saturday, and the trio were involved in all three Buffalo goals. Vancouver is also playing its fourth road game in six nights and has allowed 3.07 goals per away contest.
Sam Reinhart, BUF vs. VAN ($4,400): Building on the Evander Kane nod, Reinhart, Kane and Jack Eichel have combined for a rock-solid 3.44 goals per 60 minutes over the past two seasons, and Reinhart carries an accommodating salary. As noted, this is a difficult schedule spot for Vancouver, and Reinhart has registered two goals, five points and 11 shots through his past five games.
DEFENSE
Roman Josi, NAS vs. DAL ($5,700): For most of the past three seasons, Josi has been a $6,000 player, and he has also picked up his offense since returning from an upper-body injury with two goals, four points and 11 shots through four games. Dallas has also allowed 3.16 goals per game and the third most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes.
Torey Krug, BOS vs. MON ($5,200): Value seeking on the blue line can be costly in shallow player pools, but Krug offers a reasonable salary, a strong offensive track record and excellent current form. He's collected a goal, six points, 22 shots and eight blocked shots through his past seven games, and Krug owns a 13th-ranked 1.58 points per 60 minutes among all defensemen with 2,000 minutes over the past two seasons.
