Johnson closed with a six-under 65 to finish 17-under-par for the week and solo third at the Barbasol Championship.
ANALYSIS
What a week it was for the All-American out of Auburn. This was his debut as a pro, and it couldn't have turned out much better for Johnson who is trying to earn his Tour card for next year. He held a share of the lead going into the back-nine, but ultimately fell one shot short of competing in the playoff with Aaron Baddeley and Si Woo Kim. Johnson will look to keep things going at the RBC Canadian Open this week.
