Michael Gligic

Gligic accrued more than $600K in his second season on the PGA Tour, but once again fell shy of the FedExCup Playoffs as he recorded just one top-10 in 29 starts. Thanks to a pair of top-20s during the Korn Ferry Tour Finals, however, the Canadian will retain his card for the 2021-22 campaign. Gligic was probably a top-quartile putter on tour as he finished 15th in putting from 4-8 feet in 2020-21, but he ranked just 180th in SG: tee-to-green and 163rd in proximity.

Gligic failed to secure a top-20 result while also missing the cut in 10 of 18 events throughout his rookie season, but he managed to finish strong by stringing together finishes of T26-T25-T59 from the 3M Open through the Wyndham Championship. This was an especially promising development given he missed the cut at the Korn Ferry Tour's Korn Ferry Challenge and TPC San Antonio Challenge upon returning from the pandemic break. Gligic ultimately ranked 77th in SG: Off-the-Tee and 64th in proximity, showing signs of ball-striking ability.

A lousy putter restrained Gligic from recording any more than two top-10s on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019, but he surged to victory at the Panama Championship in early February thanks to a clutch final-round 65. Gligic would end the regular season with seven top-25s as he finished 17th on the points list and eighth among his peers in GIR percentage. The 29-year-old Canadian has never played in a PGA Tour event on U.S. soil.
