Heartbreaking finish in Detroit

Bhatia settled for a share of second place after shooting an even-par 72 in the final round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
ANALYSIS
Bhatia looked to be nails all week in Detroit and that's why Sunday's finish was so shocking. Bhatia knew the score he needed to beat with Cam Davis in the clubhouse at 18-under-par. Bhatia could have taken a one shot advantage with a birdie at the par-5 17th, but badly pulled his putt from inside of 10 feet. Bhatia hit a solid approach into 18, giving himself a 30-footer for the win, but he left his putt four feet short and had plenty of stress. Again it looked to be a slight pull on the short putt and it lipped out on the right side. It's a gut wrenching way to lose a tournament, but Bhatia seems to have the mindset to be able to bounce back. He's already won twice on the PGA Tour at the age of 22 and is going to be in the mix of many more tournaments for years to come. Bhatia will take some time off before focusing on the Open Championship.
