Tyeler Davison

A member of the Saints in his first four pro seasons, Davison delivered a career year during his debut campaign in Atlanta, tying a personal high with four tackles for loss and vastly exceeding his pre-existing bests in both solo tackles (26) and assists (29). He molded himself into a starter over the course of his time in New Orleans, and that trend mostly persisted under coach Dan Quinn and defensive play caller Raheem Morris, as he started 12 of 16 contests during 2019 and fielded 54 percent of the defensive workload. What's also notable is that he chipped in for 33 percent of the Falcons' special teams snaps, a 13.5 percent uptick from his 2016-18 rate. Marlon Davidson's arrival as a second-round draft choice may deplete Davison's defensive share slightly, but the veteran is expected to remain an integral rotational piece if nothing more.

Davison will compete to be a backup defensive tackle with the Saints.
