Let go by Dallas
Vizcaino was waived by the Cowboys on Monday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Vizcaino struggled with his accuracy early in training camp, making just 22 of 35 kicks across Dallas' first eight practices. The only kicker remaining on the Cowboys' roster following Vizcaino's departure is Brandon Aubrey, who has made 26 of 35 attempts thus far.

2021
Vizcaino has seen action for four teams in three seasons since making his NFL debut in 2020, and his 10-for-15 performance on extra points with the Chargers in 2021 offers a big clue as to why he hasn't been able to find a more permanent home. He got a chance with the Cowboys his summer but was waived in August after apparently failing to impress during training camp.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Gets formidable camp competition
Vizcaino, who initially signed with the Cowboys' practice squad in January, will get training camp competition for the starting placekicker job from USFL standout Brandon Aubrey, who signed with the team Thursday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Vizcaino certainly has the NFL experience edge on Aubrey, who's never kicked at the highest level. However, his new teammate, a one-time college soccer star, has an impressive professional body of work, converting just under 87 percent of his field-goal tries and 96.6 percent of his extra-point attempts over the last two seasons with the two-time USFL champion Birmingham Stallions. Vizcaino, who's spent time with five different NFL teams since 2019, is an impressive 11-for-12 on his field-goal attempts but just 15-for-20 on point-after tries as a pro. The two kickers will engage in a training camp/preseason battle that could come down to final roster cuts.
