Johnson is limited primarily to slot duties, and thus has been one of the main beneficiaries of the explosion of three-wide receiver sets across the league. He's played over 800 defensive snaps in each of the last four seasons and topped 900 in each of the last two campaigns. That's led to a minimum seven of seven pass breakups in each season in that span. 2023 Fantasy Outlook
Though Johnson has a modest total of four interceptions in five pro seasons with the Bills, on the plus side his stats at cornerback look more like those an in-the-box strong safety. In 2022 he started 15 games and totaled 90 tackles, six tackles for loss and nine passes defended. Johnson is in his prime entering his age-27 season and will be counted on as the nickel corner in arguably the best secondary in the NFL, a context that puts the 2018 fourth-rounder on the fantasy radar.
