2024 Fantasy Outlook
Morrow, who racked up 211 tackles over the past two years with the Bears and Eagles, provides the Bills with valuable linebacker depth behind Terrel Bernard and Matt Milano, especially with Milano bouncing back from a leg injury. The product of Greenville College has managed to find himself on the IDP radar at times when he's seen steady snaps, but it remains to be seen how heavy a workload the 29-year-old will see out of the gate with Buffalo in 2024. 2020
After missing all of 2021 due to a preseason ankle injury, Morrow signed a one-year deal with the Bears and bounced back in a big way last season. He missed just four defensive snaps and led the team with 116 tackles, smashing his previous career high of 78. He didn't record a sack but did have 11 tackles for loss and an interception. Morrow's strong season earned him another one-year contract, this time with the Eagles. It's a promising landing spot, as the defending NFC champions lost linebackers T.J. Edwards and Kyzir White in free agency, who combined for 269 tackles in 2022.
In the offseason, the Bears signed Morrow, who'll be the expected starter at linebacker. After playing in a rotational role during the majority of his first two years in the league, he averaged 75.5 tackles per season in 2019 and 2020 for the Raiders. Unfortunately, he missed the entire 2021 season after suffering a preseason ankle injury. If he returns to his pre-injury form, Morrow will play second fiddle to middle linebacker Roquan Smith, who totaled 302 tackles the past two campaigns, in Chicago's defense.
Morrow, who produced 78 tackles (62 solo), three sacks, one interception, nine passes defensed and a forced fumble across 11 starts and 14 total appearances throughout the 2020 campaign, should be a key member of Gus Bradley's defense in 2021. Morrow has logged over 700 defensive snaps each of the past two seasons while also helping out on special teams.
Despite expenditures on fellow linebackers Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski in free agency, the Raiders extended a second-round tender to Morrow and ultimately re-signed the formerly undrafted Division III product. Morrow, who turns just 25 years old in July, has appeared in all 48 contests during his first three seasons en route to an average of nearly 59 tackles per campaign.
