Feiler comes to the Buccaneers after 33-game starting stint with the Chargers over the last two seasons. The veteran can play either tackle or guard, and he's believed to be the leading candidate to start at the latter on the left side of the Buccaneers' offensive line in 2023.
After spending the last seven NFL seasons in Houston and Pittsburgh, Feiler finally found a home in Los Angeles where he started all but one game for the Chargers. The former undrafted lineman was sidelined in Week 12 due to an ankle injury, but otherwise was an extremely reliable piece for this offensive line which made dramatic improvements in 2021.
Feiler signed a lucrative three-year. $21 million contract with the Chargers this offseason after a five-year stint with the Steelers. The 29-year-old is expected to slide in at a starting guard spot, but does have experience playing both LT and RT throughout his career.
Feiler is a beefy tackle who hooked on with the Texans' practice squad in 2014 after signing as an undrafted free agent out of Bloomsburg University (Penn.). He's around for a depth tackle during training camp.
