Addison, perhaps the team's biggest offseason acquisition after Stefon Diggs, has had nine or more sacks four years in a row. He comes with some warnings from an IDP standpoint, however, as he's 32 years old, has never had an interception, doesn't get many tackles, and is leaving the comfort of Carolina for a new system in Buffalo. He still should serve as a decent source of sacks, given he'll be part of a strong defense that won't see him get double-teamed with regularity.

Ready to test market
Addison intends to test his market as a free agent, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Addison, who has led Carolina in terms of sacks in four consecutive seasons, will test his value on the open market when free agency kicks off March 18. The Panthers are reportedly interested in re-signing the 32-year-old veteran, but at the very least, it looks as though both sides won't come to terms until Addison gets the opportunity to evaluate all his options.
