A fifth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Wattenberg should contend to be he Broncos' starting center in 2024. The 27-year-old has played both center and guard in his two NFL seasons, so his versatility could afford him the opportunity to be used in different roles. Nonetheless, Wattenberg will have the important responsibility of building a strong chemistry with whoever is under center when the season starts, especially with a potential rookie at quarterback in Bo Nix.
