Kylin Hill

Arguably the best short-yardage back in this year's draft class, though he could prove to be much more than that, Hill's game revolves around power. A solid 5-10, 214 lbs., the Mississippi State product has tremendous lower-body explosiveness which allows him to plow through arm tackles, and shoulder and chest tackles if the defender isn't ready for what's coming. Hill does have the athleticism and nimbleness to weave through traffic in the hole when necessary and even has some hurdles of would-be tacklers on his college highlight reel, but once he reaches the second level he's more likely to need to rely on stiff arms or simply lowering his pads to gain extra yards. He did run in the low 4.5s in the 40-yard dash at his pro day, which is a solid number for his size, but he likely doesn't have the speed to outrun pursuers in the NFL. Hill isn't one-dimensional however, showing good hands and route-running skill with the Bulldogs when called upon, and he could win some third-down snaps at the next level. After playing only three games in 2020 before opting out of the rest of the season, Hill heads into this season fresh, but touches will be hard to come by behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon in the Packers' backfield.
